Royce rejoined her without his jacket, and what she'd thought was a black T-shirt actually had long sleeves. Most men looked sexy in black, she conceded. Royce, however, looked dangerous as well. She found it impossible to stop her eyes from coveting his broad- shouldered, lean torso as he walked towards her.

'It's a front-opening clasp,' she told him shakily, her bones having melted to mush. He whirled her in his arms and she sank back into him while he fumbled and fiddled, still swearing.

'I always have trouble with black lace bras,' he growled. 'They do things to me.'

Finally, the bra fell apart under his fingers and Melanie groaned aloud. But oh, the feel of his hands on her bare breasts.
